Jagriti Yoga and Naturopathy Sansthan (JYANS): Promoting Holistic Wellness
Established in 2015 under the S.R. Act. 1860, Jagriti Yoga and Naturopathy Sansthan (JYANS) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization dedicated to advancing and promoting the knowledge, education, and application of Yoga and Naturopathy for the well-being of all societal sections. JYANS is a unit of the MKAGS NGO, established in 2002. It holds a Master Franchisee of the ‘Indian Foundation of Yoga and Naturopathy’ under the ‘Indian Board of Yoga and Naturopathic Medicine, New Delhi.’ It operates vocational training centers, ITIs affiliated with NCVT, the Government of India, and numerous Naturopathy and Yoga clinics across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The organization is also registered under the Income Tax Act 80G and 12A.
As a self-regulatory body of leading Yoga & Naturopathic Institutions in India, JYANS plays a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining high standards of Yoga and Naturopathy education. It also recognizes alternative medicine and therapy qualifications, registering Yoga and Naturopathic therapists to ensure proper standards in teaching and practice, thereby protecting public health and safety. JYANS grants recognition to Yoga and Naturopathic qualifications, provides accreditation/affiliation to colleges and institutions, and regularly monitors their guidance and examination centers. The organization also conducts its colleges, institutes, and training centers across India, offering various certificate, diploma, and P.G. level courses.
JYANS actively organizes Free Health Workshops, Seminars, Yoga Karya Shalas, Conferences, and Free Aid Camps nationwide to raise awareness about Yoga and Naturopathic treatments. Candidates completing their yoga courses are prepared for the QCI Examination for government jobs, as Jagriti Yoga and Naturopathy Sansthan is a member of the Quality Council of India (QCI) and holds ISO 9001-2015 certification for Quality Management System (London, UK), alongside being a certified Education Centre by MSME, New Delhi.
As an autonomous institution for Research and Development in Yoga & Naturopathy, JYANS is involved in formulating scientific Yoga Training Centres, propagating Yoga & Naturopathy globally, and conducting research on disease prevention and remedy. Its activities include organizing scientific seminars and training programs for practitioners, facilitating dedicated institutions, and offering Private Yoga, Corporate Yoga, Yoga Retreats, and various Yoga & Naturopathy Courses, including unique awareness programs for students.
