With Embody Wellness, the vision from the outset was to create a welcoming and contemporary environment offering a broad range of activities and services designed to balance your life and enhance your wellbeing. To deliver on this mission, owners Bruce Tegart and Christian De Ponte created this unique space where the stresses of London life are left behind the moment you arrive.
You will find some of London’s finest teachers and therapists under one roof. Each week, they offer over twenty-five yoga, Pilates and fitness classes catering to all levels of ability, from complete beginner to more advanced students looking to take their practice to the next level. In addition, the friendly and experienced in-house therapists are on hand seven days a week, delivering an extensive range of facial, waxing and massage treatments designed to relax, restore and rejuvenate.
Embody Wellness is home to a team of exceptional complementary and physical therapists dedicated to improving your health and quality of life and some of the friendliest reception staff you’ll meet anywhere! Embody wellness combines this multifaceted approach to wellbeing with the highest standards of customer care, striving to ensure that every member of the community feels valued, appreciated, encouraged, and inspired.
Embody believes yoga is for everyone. Most yoga classes are open to all levels, though if you’ve never tried yoga before, starting with one of the Gentle Yoga classes would be perfect. They also offer one-on-one sessions at Embody, giving new students the opportunity for a more personalized introduction and more advanced students a chance for specialized tuition. Frequent weekend workshops and special events complement the studio activities, ensuring there’s always something to look forward to.
At Embody there are different yoga classes like Chair yoga, which is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting on a chair or using a chair for support. Gentle Yoga class is ideal for beginners as well as more advanced students wanting to review the fundamentals of yoga. Pregnancy yoga sessions are a wonderful opportunity to reconnect both with yourself and your baby. They are also a great way to become birth-fit, to pamper yourself a little, and to support sleep and general relaxation.
Mother-Baby yoga, the focus of this gentle yet effective post-natal yoga class is to re-tone your body after pregnancy and help reduce tension and strain to your wrists, arms, shoulders, chest and lower back. The class is designed to include your baby in a playful way to stimulate development and health, and includes gentle massage, interactive play and a sing-along. No yoga experience is necessary. Embody also offers Pilates classes. The Pilates method is an exercise system that focuses on improving core strength, flexibility and balance. At Embody, there is an excellent team of friendly and experienced teachers with a range of classes for all levels.
