The Breathing Room, located in Aundh, Pune is a serene space where gentle tones, warm natural light, and thoughtfully designed interiors create an atmosphere of ease, inviting you to slow down, unwind and simply be. 

Rita Date, founder of The Breathing Room, fell in love with yoga after moving to India. As a nutritionist, health writer, and yoga practitioner herself, she created this space to make yoga accessible and welcoming for everyone. The Breathing Room promotes yoga to cultivate balance, mindfulness, and clarity of mind, with a strong belief in nurturing overall well-being through both movement and mindful breathing techniques. 

At TBR, classes are thoughtfully guided by certified instructors and designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner. Explore a range of practices including Aerial Yoga, Sunrise Yoga, Energy Flow, Yoga for Graceful Ages, meditation, breathwork, strength and mobility, and advanced yoga sessions. More than just a workout, these classes offer a space to realign and reconnect with yourself – inside and out. 

The Breathing Room hosts immersive workshops that extend beyond regular classes, offering deeper and more engaging experiences. Covering themes from movement and nutrition to spirituality and experiential learning, these sessions are designed to inspire greater awareness and practical growth. Conducted as occasional one-day or weekend events, the workshops create a space to learn, connect, and explore through meaningful, hands-on experiences. 

Many people’s wellness journeys are built from many different types of routines and trends, leading them to feel disconnected as they progress through their journeys. TBR believes that it is important to focus on developing conscious and sustainable ways of living to promote balance, awareness, and harmony in our daily lives.
