Sri Adiyog International Institute for Learning and Research (SAYI) is an international educational institute founded with the mission of promoting ancient Yogic science in its genuine form on a global scale. As a part of the Shree Sharada Multipurpose Society, an NGO established in 2008, SAYI is dedicated to preserving ancient Indian culture and developing human potential. The institute’s focus extends to Yog, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and the promotion of Sanskrit, while also emphasizing the preservation of nature.
The institute was co-founded by Dr. Sanjay Gawali and Mrs. Sulabha Gawali, both of whom are passionate spiritual seekers committed to bringing about positive societal change by spreading awareness of yoga. Their goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge of yoga and make it a part of every household.
Building on their legacy, Dr. Madhur, their daughter is now leading the institute in a new and exciting direction: Yoga Research. Under her guidance, a dedicated Yoga Research Center is being established. This new initiative aims to scientifically explore and validate the profound benefits of yoga. The institute is actively collaborating with leading yoga research institutions worldwide to pioneer studies and contribute to the global understanding of yoga’s impact on health and wellness. This forward-thinking approach ensures the institute remains at the forefront of both traditional practice and modern scientific inquiry.
SAYI’s initiatives are structured across four key areas, which include a variety of yoga programs. A significant aspect of their offerings is the Hatha Yoga programs, which are taught by trainers certified by ISHA. The institute also offers affiliated programs with reputable institutions such as KKSU University and provides guidance for AYUSH programs. A notable partnership is with the Swami Vivekanand Yog Anusandhan Sansthan (SVYASA), a UGC-approved Yoga University renowned for its research in Yog Therapy. The founders of SVYASA, Dr. H. R. Nagendra and Dr. R. Nagaratna, are experts whose contributions have substantially advanced the field of yoga for health and pathology treatment.
