Description
Dive into elusive inner calm with Retreats by Yore Yoga.Â
Yore Yoga was set up in Dubai in 2016. Recently, a new branch was established, Paithrukam, at Wayanad, Kerala, to transmit Hatha Yoga in an ideal setting and also to offer Kalaripayattu practice. Yore Yoga aspires to transform as many people as possible in their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Yore Yoga teaches Classical Hatha Yoga and Kalaripayattu in an environment that is in harmony with nature, so you learn to settle down just as you are and live in the moment. This is where the journey for your well-being begins, and you aspire for higher possibilities of human life. Yore Yoga is situated on the outskirts of Mananthavady in Wayanad district, Kerala. Within India, Kerala is also known as God’s own country.
Your journey on the western ghats under the thick forest tree cover is just enough to realize your mortal self and kick start your imagination about what is in store at Mananthavady as they promise to beat that expectation. They teach Classical Hatha Yoga in its purest form, which is imbibed in our teachers by Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore, India. They also teach Kalaripayattu as a complementary practice. Kalaripayattu, the oldest form of Indian martial arts, is another Jewel in Kerala’s rich art forms in the likes of Kathakali and Mohiniyattam. Many other simple yet immersive indulgences will take you to the point of exhilaration, so your every moment is well spent.
Yore Yoga offers various practices
- Angamardana: Angamardana is a system rooted in yoga that offers everyone the opportunity to invigorate the body and reach peak physical and mental health. “Angamardana” means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs and other parts of the body.
- Bhuta Shuddhi: Bhuta Shuddhi means “purification of the five elements” (i.e. earth, water, fire, air and space), which gets to the root of imbalances in the body that lead to disease. This simple practice, which you can do daily, reorganizes your system on the elemental level.
- Surya Kriya: This practice offers a robust process. You can do it just to cure your backache, or you can use it to transform yourself absolutely. It has that potential. Surya Kriya is a potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity, designed as a holistic process for health, wellness, and complete inner well-being. “Surya” means “sun,” and “kriya” means “inner energy process.”
Yore Yoga is not just teaching yoga but also empowering lives! Their Isha Hatha Yoga teachers are all about a holistic approach—beyond the body, delving into the mind and energy.
