Established in 2008 by the Shivananda Seva Trust, IIYSAR is officially recognized by the Government of Odisha, Department of Culture, and affiliated with the Utkal University of Culture.

This recognition underscores the institute’s commitment to excellence and its pivotal role in monitoring the Swami Vivekananda District Yoga Wellness Centers in the region.
