200 Hours TTC (Varkala)
Asana and Pranayama practice begin the day. This course will help you develop a disciplined practice in this two-hour class by emphasizing appropriate alignment, breathing awareness, and channeling your life force, the Prana. Yoga props can be used to support and correct postures, and this workshop will give you the practical skills to help your future students maximize the therapeutic benefits of yogasana practice. During the course of the training, the morning Hatha class covers the Ashtanga Primary Series Asanas in detail and discusses them. The afternoon class is devoted to deepening the practice of Ashtanga Mysore Style, where students practice the sequence at their own pace with individual adjustments and support from the teacher.
