200 Hours TTC (Varkala)
The 200 Hours TTC (Varkala) begins each day with Asana and Pranayama practice. This course will help you develop a disciplined practice in this 200-hour class by emphasizing appropriate alignment, breathing awareness, and channeling your life force, the Prana. Yoga props can be used to support and correct postures, and this workshop will give you the practical skills to help your future students maximize the therapeutic benefits of yogasana practice.
During the course of the training, the morning Hatha class covers the Ashtanga Primary Series Asanas in detail and discusses them. The afternoon class is devoted to deepening the practice of Ashtanga Mysore Style, where students practice the sequence at their own pace with individual adjustments and support from the teacher.
