Explore Traditional Yoga at Inteyoga
Goa is known for its relaxed coastal atmosphere, long stretches of sandy beaches, lush greenery and a way of life that encourages people to slow down and spend more time outdoors. Away from the pace of busy cities, its surroundings can offer a quieter backdrop for study, reflection and sustained practice. In this setting, Inteyoga (Swami Krishnananda Yoga Vidyapeeth) in Sernabatim, Colva, offers a space for sincere seekers to study, practise and experience yoga beyond the physical practice of asana.
Rooted in the traditions of Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga, Inteyoga brings together structured learning, disciplined practice, meditation and yogic living. Its approach is guided by the ethos, “Existence in Abundance, Abundance in Existence,” with an emphasis on learning, seva, self-observation and inner enquiry. Inteyoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 200, RYS 300 and RYS 500) providing a progressive pathway for students looking to deepen their yoga education and work towards RYT 500 eligibility.
Inteyoga’s teacher training programmes approach yoga as an integrated discipline rather than simply a course leading to certification. The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed as a foundation for students beginning or deepening their formal study of yoga, while the Advanced 300-Hour Integrated Restorative Yoga Teacher Training is intended for practitioners who have already completed a 200-hour training or have an equivalent foundation.
The 300-hour programme is a 45-day immersive experience, comprising 43 days of intensive training and two days for arrival and departure. The curriculum includes Yoga Nidra, Chakra Sadhana, Prana Vidya, Classical Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, pranayama, meditation, restorative yogic practices, yogic lifestyle and self-discipline. Students are also introduced to broader yogic traditions including Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga, encouraging them to explore yoga as a way of living rather than focusing only on asana.
The immersive experience includes shared twin or triple accommodation, subject to availability, along with vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan-friendly meals inspired by the principle of Mitahara. Herbal tea and fruits are also provided during the day.
For its 2026- 27 Advanced 300-Hour programmes, Inteyoga follows a Gift-it-Forward model, with no programme fee or deposit. Students may voluntarily contribute after completing the programme, but participation and certification are not dependent on contributing.
The Advanced 300-Hour programme is conducted in English, with batches scheduled from December 2026 through December 2027. For practitioners seeking structured study, sustained practice and an immersive yogic environment, Inteyoga provides an opportunity to engage with yoga through traditional teachings, disciplined practice and self-exploration in the coastal surroundings of Goa.
