For many professionals today, this&nbsp;isn\u2019t&nbsp;just stress,&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;a deeper, ongoing feeling of instability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the traditional system of&nbsp;<strong>Chakra Dharana,&nbsp;<\/strong>a meditative practice of focusing awareness on the body\u2019s energy&nbsp;centers,&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>Muladhara&nbsp;(Root Chakra)<\/strong>&nbsp;represents&nbsp;our fundamental foundation. Historically, our sense of safety was tied to basic physical survival: food, shelter, and protection. But in today\u2019s modern Indian workplace, survival anxiety has evolved. Rising EMIs make rest feel irresponsible. News about layoffs spreads quickly and affects even those not directly at risk. At the same time, there\u2019s constant pressure to reskill, stay relevant, and prove one\u2019s value.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over time, this creates a persistent, low-level stress that&nbsp;doesn\u2019t&nbsp;switch off. This&nbsp;isn\u2019t&nbsp;panic or visible burnout;&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;a baseline state of alertness that quietly runs in the background all day. The body adapts to it, and eventually, it starts to feel normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You might notice it in everyday ways:<\/strong>&nbsp;Tightness in the lower back, hips, or tailbone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Restlessness even while resting&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Difficulty relaxing on weekends without guilt&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Overworking without being asked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not a personality flaw.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0the body responding to a prolonged &#8220;survival demand&#8221; without enough recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It\u2019s\u00a0important to recognize that not all stress comes from within.
