Most of the worthwhile things I\u2019ve done in life have lead to fame. Previously, I was athlete by profession but never focused deeply on emotional and spiritual aspects.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>My life circle revolved around\u00a0me and\u00a0slowly I started learning yoga. I thought it was just a physical sport, but slowly I realized that yoga teaches you to lead a better, healthier and\u00a0happier life. As the word &#8216;yog&#8217; means to unite body mind &amp; soul.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height:1.5;\">As I further continued with my practice of yoga, it taught\u00a0me how one can change\u00a0a\u00a0normal life into blissful one. I started feeling changes within myself. \u00a0I saw myself slowly becoming\u00a0humble through which I started perceiving\u00a0life in different manner. I became more humble, polite, focusing within my inner self. Presence and compassion will always serve you better than self-criticism and doubt.<\/p>\n<p>\u2981\u00a0<strong>Focus on learning, rather than perfection<\/strong><br \/>\nFear gets a bad rap, but it\u2019s not necessarily a bad thing. If you\u2019re scared of something, it means that you have an opportunity to challenge yourself, and to grow as a result. It\u2019s a chance to see where you might be blocked and push past your own personal barriers.<\/p>\n<p>When I\u2019m scared of something, I know that I have to do it. Just take a deep breath and do it. Afterward, I\u2019ll feel a sense of pride and confidence about\u00a0myself. It\u2019s always worth it in the end. You always end-up learning something positive.<\/p>\n<p>\u2981\u00a0<strong>Yes, Yoga makes you positively passive<\/strong><br \/>\nIn further stages of Yoga at a certain point, you\u2019ll don&#8217;t harm others or react unnecessarily. You feel blissful where you feel your presence and\u00a0connected to nature this is called <strong>\u201cSamah Shatrau cha mitre cha&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0he is the same with reference to an enemy, a\u00a0friend &amp; nature being.\u201d in Bhagvad\u00a0Gita.<\/p>\n<p>\u2981 <strong>Being Free from unecessary attachments<\/strong><br \/>\nAttachments rather than family, one who is\u00a0sanga-vivarjita\u00a0has no emotional dependence upon negative people or things. This extends even to his own body. You may not have other dependencies but everything can be\u00a0focused on the body. Where unnecessary attachments won\u2019t disturb your mental-peace.<br \/>\nThese are some small life changing experiences which lead me to a better healthier and happier life and most importantly it made me a wise human being!
